Hi everyone!

As most of you know, Ray has accepted a 2-year assignment with Toyota's European Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. For those of you who do not know, Belgium is located next to France, Germany and the Netherlands. The home of NATO and the European Union, it is considered the "gateway to Europe" with its easy access to many European countries. (Hint, hint--good excuse to come and visit!)

Ray started his new position in February, 2008. The girls and I arrived here in late March. We are living just outside the city of Brussels in the commune of Tervuren, Belgium.

Although we are sad to temporarily leave our family and friends, we are excited for this adventure. What an opportunity to leave our tiny box and experience life outside of America!

Yia - Sou! (Hello in Greek, pronounced yah-shu). We're back!

Our holiday in Greece was simply fabulous!! And first time cruisers Ray, DS and PS have come to love the cruising lifestyle.

After a stay in Athens, we embarked on a one-week cruise out of the port of Piraeus. While cruising, we visited Istanbul and Kusadasi in Turkey and the Greek Islands of Mykonos, Patmos, Rhodes, Crete and Santorini. Since Santorini was someplace I've always wanted to visit since I saw the movie Summer Lovers, we said our good-byes to the Ng's in Santorini where we disembarked our cruise ship to stay an additional few days on this island paradise. The funny thing is that I can't even remember much about the movie (I was such a young pup when it came out!), but never forgot its breathtaking scenery. I can now say first hand that this island will truly take your breath away...

As we settle back into our normal routine, we will start updating our blog with our adventures. So until then, Yia-sou -- which coincidentally, also means good-bye!
